The EA
 The Energy Audit (EA)
The EA, carried out by a qualified professional, is an efficiency report assessing the likely energy usage of a property.
The comprehensive EA report details calculated consumption estimation in Euros and uses the following double labelling:
• a label detailing energy consumption in kWh/m²/year (identical to that used for electrical appliances and new cars).
• a second label outlining the impact that the estimated consumption has on the greenhouse effect through CO2 emission, calculated in kg/m²/year.
As well as this estimation, the report also includes technical recommendations, providing the buyer, the owner or the lessee with information on the most efficient energy-saving measures.
The EA is totally in line with a set of attitudes and behavioural approaches aiming to limit the consequences of rising energy costs for the individual, and simultaneously, aiming to preserve the environment.
